Special Weapon Effects
yup. back. – Critical hit damage bonus, achieves highest accuracy (which is near pinpoint) quicker than most other Hyperion submachine guns.
Usage & Description
In sustained fire, the Bitch reaches its peak accuracy faster than most Hyperion SMGs, even those of similar or higher levels, and has noticeably better overall stats. Its deep magazine, near-perfect accuracy, and critical hit damage bonus make it an excellent choice for almost any combat situation, especially attaining a Second Wind.
This weapon differs from the original Bitch in that the accuracy bonus for sustained fire is now standard to all weapons of Hyperion manufacture. Additionally, there are no inherent bonuses for elemental damage.
- The red flavor text is a reference to the Elton John song "The Bitch is Back.", which is also a reference of how the Bitch is one of the returning weapons in Borderlands.
- The Bitch is one of the several orange-rarity legendary guns that were featured in Borderlands. It also retains the distinction of being the most accurate SMG in the game.
- The Bitch's critical hit damage bonus featured in both the Borderlands and Borderlands 2 versions. This effect was missing from the item card in the Borderlands, but is displayed in Borderlands 2.
- The Bitch's red color scheme is a throwback to its Borderlands predecessor, as both feature a red colour scheme (albeit the Borderlands 2 variant is covered in signatures).
