The Bone Shredder is a Unique Submachine Gun manufactured by Bandit. The Bone Shredder (Borderlands 2) is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source but has an increased chance to drop from Bone Head 2.0 located in Arid Nexus - Badlands.

Usage & Description

The Bone Shredder is a high rate-of-fire Bandit SMG which always spawns with a double accessory, increasing the already impressive fire rate even more.

Notes

• The Bone Shredder can be used to devastating effect with Gaige's Anarchy tree, due to sacrificing accuracy for damage, possibly to even greater effect due to its ability to spawn as an elemental weapon.

Trivia

• The Bone Shredder is one of many unique weapons to return from Borderlands.
• Despite now being a Bandit weapon, the Bone Shredder retains the monochromatic color scheme of Borderlands 1's Tediore weapons.
• The Bone Shredder is one of three weapons with purple rarity in Borderlands 2 to have a red flavor text, with the other two being the Good Touch and the Bad Touch.
  • There are also only two shields (the Deadly Bloom and the Love Thumper) and one relic (the Sheriff's Badge), which meet these criteria.
  • All in all there are only 6 items with purple rarity and a red flavor text.
