Borderlands 2: A Work of Art was an interactive graffiti piece that was painted at Gamescom 2012 in Cologne.

British graffiti artists SmugOne and Bonzai painted the mural for 2K Games as a showcase of the Borderlands 2 art, characters and story.

The paint was livestreamed at http://aworkofart.eu. There is now a timelapse of the painting on the site, and each section of the artwork can be clicked on to reveal news, videos and images from Borderlands 2. This video shows how it all happened:

The canvas has been cut into individual artworks and is currently being given away to Borderlands fans via the same site.
