The Quick Change allows the player to change their heads and skins, and respec their skill points. These stations are provided by Anshin.
Heads and skins
A new feature in Borderlands 2, the Quick Change allows the player to change the look of the Vault Hunter that they are playing at the given time. There are a total of 17 heads and 88 skins for each class. Most skins can be unlocked by ordinary means (Loot drops, finishing missions, or killing a boss) but some skins require special means of unlock (e.g.: having a Borderlands 1 save file).
In the same manner as guns or shields, there are five rarities ranging from least to most rare in the order of white, green, blue, purple, orange. There are three different types of skins available in Borderlands 2. Heads, obviously, change the appearance of the head of Vault Hunter being used at the time.
Skins change the color and can make small overall physical changes (i.e.:war paint skin giving painted stripes on face and skin).
Vehicle skins can give provide a different color or pattern available to paint on vehicles.
Each skin after being picked up is added to the collection after being selected in the inventory, much like Backpack SDU's did in the first game. To make changes to the character the player must go to a customization station and use the interface for character customization in Borderlands 2.
Respec
The Quick Change station also allows respecs of skill points. This unallocates all skill points, allowing them to be redistributed. There is a monetary cost, which appears to be:
respec cost = 100 * 1.12level
