Better name for this category

This will be parent category for Category:Arenas, Category:Zones, Category:Subterranean Locations, Category:Locations by addon, Category:Fast Travel Outposts, etc.

  • "Places"
  • "Places on Pandora"
I vote for. D1g 23:16, March 25, 2010 (UTC)
"Locations" is a good name to cover areas like Fyrestone. It follows the idea of something "local" or a "localised area" quite nicely, whereas your suggestion, "place" is often used to describe a structure or something "placed". Also, don't make it a parent category for Zones. Zones are large areas with many locations in them, so you'd be setting it up backwards. Actually, just ditch the idea of making it a parent category of anything. The parent category is Content. After than everything else should be about one level of drill down, two at the most. All of the area categories are fine the same level. -- WarBlade 02:46, March 26, 2010 (UTC)
I'm agree with you that zones are different to locations and no one is parent to another. But questing was in not that. I'm looking for name of category wich will be parent to Locations, Zones, but not Content. More special name (Category:Places_on_Pandora), what do you think about it? D1g 02:58, March 26, 2010 (UTC)
And then you'll stick Prometheus in it. No thanks. -- WarBlade 11:03, March 26, 2010 (UTC)

Suggestion: Merge Regions & Areas

The Regions and Areas in the navigation template are an unnecessary division. There really isn't much distinction between them and they are apparently causing confusion with how categorisation should be structured. Seeing as they are both kinds of zones I propose they be merged into one set labelled "Zones". A zone is a clear definition, while Regions and Areas are indistinct. -- WarBlade 20:18, March 26, 2010 (UTC)
