Special Weapon Effects
Let's just ping everyone all at once. – Generates additional projectiles upon ricochet or after sufficient distance. Reduced accuracy and recoil recovery.
Usage & Description
The Conference Call's ricocheted projectiles shoot off horizontally perpendicular to the original projectiles or ricochet. This effect is not shown on its weapon card, but causes it to deal a very large amount of damage versus larger enemies such as The Warrior or Terramorphous the Invincible. The Conference Call can also occasionally spawn with additional elemental damage without penalty to base damage, making it more situational effective, such as corrosive damage against the BNK-3R.
The Conference Call is an extraordinary weapon for use with Gaige's Anarchy builds, because its characteristic traits (rate of fire, magazine size and special weapon effect) are the optimal companion to gain stacks and cause destructive amounts of damage.
Notes
- Contrary to popular belief, the Conference Call isn't the best companion for The Bee shield. They were used together to cause absurd amounts of damage but since Gearbox addressed the exploit, the amp damage of The Bee is divided among all pellets and not applied to each pellet for shotguns, so weapons that can sustain faster fire and for longer periods of time are a better option.
