Usage & Description

The bulldog combines an exceptionally large magazine, high fire rate and quick reload. With these stats, the Bulldog can dish out a virtually un-ending storm of bullets. The Bulldog is also appreciated for not having a fixed spread pattern, allowing for higher accuracy at range.

Because the title Bulldog overrides the title Matador, Bulldogs usually don't shine as a close-range combat weapon. Hunter's Bulldogs, though, are very dangerous weapons.

While the Bulldog does have slightly increased tech levels, it doesn't warrant an elemental Bulldog over a Maliwan Plague or a Torgue Friendly Fire.

Notes

• This weapon will occasionally spawn with the Carnage barrel, making it essentially a 20 round rocket launcher (potentially more with magazine size modifiers).

Trivia

• The name may be a reference to the Armsel Striker, sometimes called the (Protecta) Bulldog.

Mechanics

The Bulldog effect comes from the mag2_Dahl_Bulldog magazine, which is a variation of the mag2 12-round magazine, but superior to its standard counterpart in all aspects. For an explanation on how to interpret the information on the following table, please see the stat modifiers page.
