Ⓦ Borderlands 2 Maya/Siren Walkthrough - Part 2 ▪ Best Minion Ever

I went ahead and leveled up to 5 off-camera and accidentally started the "Best Minion Ever" quest in the process (hence why Claptrap is waiting past the first set of enemies at the start of the video). D=
For the Boom-Bewm fight, you can exit the "arena" and find a spot to snipe Big Bertha safely (MajorSlack shows a very good spot here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJ87EeScbw0#t=01m25s ), but I find it's quicker to just get up in its face and unload into it with a Jakobs pistol.
After that, you can easily finish off Boom and Bewm with headshots using your sniper rifle. While the exact damage of the sniper rifle you get from the Bad Hair Day quest will vary, it should only take 2 headshots to kill each of them. Taking down either of them will cause Psychos to start spawning until you finish off the other one, but they're not much of a threat.
Captain Flynt's a little more annoying. Getting criticals on him is difficult because of his face-mask, and most bullets will bounce off of him when he flares up. The explosive AoE damage from Torgue weapons and grenades will still hit him when he's on fire, though (a fact I probably should have taken advantage of in this video to shave off some time).
Once he jumps down, it would be best to jump out of the arena and engage from near the lift Claptrap used earlier or the room with the ammo vending machine.
On a different note: I'm not sure why I sold that nice Tediore shotgun I picked up in favor of keeping my clearly-inferior Jakobs shotty. Sometimes, my brain just doesn't work properly while I'm recording. =/
