Borderlands 2 - Hero's Pass Run with my "Electromancer" Build
February 6, 2013
So after playing my Mechromancer as a support character for Deathtrap with a Best Friends Forever build and blasting things to a red mist (on the 360, I mean that literally since the blood effects aren't as detailed as the PC) with maximum stacks of Anarchy, I finally went ahead and made a shock build for her. It draws influence from the popular "Shocking B!tch" build (as created by Cykotr0n on the Gearbox BL2 forums), but gives Deathtrap a little more lasting power with the addition of The Stare and Robot Rampage.
I also feel placing points into Typecast Iconoclast and Rational Anarchist is a waste since this build is powerful enough to take care of standard enemies very quickly without any stacks of Anarchy at all, and with just over 50, Badass enemies go down pretty fast too. There's little need to waste points to get Anarchy quicker.
This videos focus is on the raw damage output and healing of the Hail in the hands of a Mechromancer, and has a few good demonstrations of the Black Hole shield. Deathtrap in this area is relegated to distraction duty, but he shines in places like Lynchwood; just summon him on one side of the tracks and you cover the other. The points placed into The Stare and Robot Rampage will help him work all that much faster.
