I think Auntarie was speaking strictly of ROF. Nohara is correct in the comparison though... auto vrs. burst fire is 2 different beasts.

The OP changed the name of the page to "full auto" after Auntarie made his post. At that time, his answer was legit.
The Hyperion material is the highest fire rate for full auto SMGs. I have several 18.8 RoF Hyperion SMGs if you are ever interested Razl. --

That's correct, Hyperion .W (mat2) + Vector accessory gives you the highest RoF, but that assumes what you mean by "fastest" is having the highest RoF, as opposed to say, the most number of bullets fired per second. If you count bullets per second, then it's obviously a Torgue Double Anarchy. :-) Side note, if you count bullets per second and still want some degree of accuracy, Double accessory always beats Vector. Oh, also, if you're going to mod, a Vladof SMG is not as good as an Atlas one. Atlas material gives exponentially higher RoF with already high RoF weapons. Whereas Vladof is a fixed % boost, Atlas subtracts 0.05 seconds between each bullet fired. So if your gun had 0.06 sec/shot (= 16.7 RoF), putting on Atlas material would make it 100 RoF. :D Logisim 20:12, July 25, 2011 (UTC)
That's nice to know :D But I wasn't going to mod, I was just throwing the idea out there, since Vladof are supposed to make the weapons with the highest RoF.
