I myself wouldn't want a level cap increase. Just think of all the legendary items you will have to re-get. ALSO, the enemies INCLUDING raid bosses get tougher. NOT COOL!
I say make a mission or missions to gain extra skillpoints. Up to 45 skill points. Like a mission/quest line/DLC that buffs your character with a permanent double skill points for completing/buying it. That's the whole point of a level increase anyways, right? So just do that.
