I have another gear that needs clarification, I've got this Pearlescet shield called "Ironclad", but just that, just Ironclad, not Impenetrable Ironclad, is this modded? The stats is about 2950/265 also, any help would be great and thanks in advance.

That shield must be modded because all shields should have a prefix. The prefix determines what the special ability of the shield specifically is. Examples are on the Shields page, so you can check it out for yourself to see what they all are, but I'll put a couple here. Impenetrable: (which is the most common Ironclad I've seen) means the shield will have the highest max capacity of it's build. Hardened: (another common Ironclad) just means the shield has a high max capacity, but that it could be better. Alactrious: (which I've commonly seen on the Rose pearlescent shield) means that the shield has the highest recharge speed of it's build. Last I'll put is the Harmonious: (common in good all around shields both in capacity & rechard rate) means that the shield is of the highest quality that it can be based on it's build. Then of course for the non-pearl shields there are 2nd prefixes based on the manufacturer and what other ability the shield gets within the manufacturer (as there are multiple possibilities within each). The only other shields that don't fit the basic shield set up mold are the 'Cracked Sash' and the 'Wee Wee's Super Booster' because they're unique shields. I'm not sure how a shield without a prefix would even pass in the game because what I get from the missing prefix is that it's missing a part, which should mean the game won't allow it, but maybe I'm wrong. The game does allow the lack of existence of prefixes on items. It's likely modded because every shield that drops will have the first prefix. A prefix can go missing only if someone else dropped it. Laserblasto 07:47, March 29, 2010 (UTC)
