So I have a level 46 soldier and I reconfigured my stats to get the most out of the support and medic branches, before I tried to be as balanced as I could with all three with at least a skill point on each skill open to me. I currently have a heavy gunner mod but hardly any of the skills it benefits are open on the tree. Will it still benefit me or should I get a class mod that plays to my current strengths?

It only works if you have at least one point in that skill.AFGHAN PSYCHO 02:01, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

The extra mag size it offers will still work, but unless you have at least one point in each of the extra skills it supports they wont work. If you have one with a damage bonus increase its probably worth keeping but if not I would go with a support gunner with ammo regen or commando com for shotties or a cobat rifle com for rifles and the rifle com will give all guns a slight damage increase with rolands weapon damage increase skill ( cant remember its name right now).Veggienater 02:10, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

Try finding one with ammo regen for all weapons ,three stat bonuses ,and a increase in all weapon magazine size. You will have to reload less and basically have infinite ammo.AFGHAN PSYCHO 02:18, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

The Impact skill is a First Tier skill on both Heavy Gunner & Support Gunner mods. You might want to get that skill on your next level up if you want to keep the Heavy Gunner mod. I would personally favor the Support Gunner mod. KenSwab 02:25, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

All three have the impact skill bonus. i prefer the supportgunner com as well with a team mag % bonus. If you like shootties a commando com with a damage bonus or shotgun ammo regen works well. it doesnt have impact, but does have scattershot which improve shotgun spread , pellet count and damage. If you have a really powerful combat rifle its com with ammo regen is also useful.Veggienater 02:49, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

Scattershot affects pellet count? That's news to me.GT: ConceitedJarrad XBOX360 02:50, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

Im pretty sure scattershot doesnt affect pellet count. It only affects spread and damage.AFGHAN PSYCHO 03:04, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

no it doesnt, i had it confused with a hunter skill. sorry no pellet count increase. Veggienater 03:02, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

The only skill bonus my mod enhanced that I didn't have was metal storm and I have since got it. Thanx for the help!
