Been playing BLTPS and i have to say it is a great game but i was wondering if other players have had the game freeze for a few seconds or completely freeze when you freeze an enemy solid then shatter them as they turn into ice chunks? it's as if the game can't handle it or gets confused and it either stops for a few seconds or stops completely this doesn't happen all the time but i want to know if this is just a glitch i am having personally or if this occurs with other players as well.

I haven't experienced that, but thinking about the ice chunk explosion there's a fair bit of geometry-in-motion going on there. Maybe try going through the graphics settings and selectively scale a few things back to see if one of the settings is proving to be a little much for your system to handle when circumstances like the ice fragmentation occur. -- WarBlade (talk) 23:55, October 27, 2014 (UTC)

Oh sorry i should have mentioned i was on the 360 not the PC either way i haven't found a solution and i thought it might be some sort of issue on the games part that might be addressed in a future stability patch. -- NoSkoolThrasher

I play on the 360 and have also had minor issues with momentary " freezing ". It does not only happen when using cryo element, however. The " freezing " happens mainly when there is too much animation happening at one time. As WarBlade mentioned, the freezing and shattering animation may momentarily overload things and the engine needs a second to catch up. --Veggienatersml 04:28, October 28, 2014 (UTC)
Ahh ok its only been happening to me when i use any weapon with a cryo element or when Wilhelms skill "Cold War" kicks in and freezes enemies, good to know i am not the only one this is happening to. -- NoSkoolThrasher
