I have the PS3 game of the year edition of Borderlands and played it extensively. 3 of my characters are level 69 with full banks of orange and pearls at moxxi's. recently on a brick profile, i was loading the Arid Hills when a message appeared stating...
"The game data is corrupted. The game will close. You must delete the game data to play this game."
exactly worded like this. i took a picture of the message on my tv and sent it to one of my buddies expressing how unfortunate my situation is. needless to say, i was upset. so i went out, deleted the game data and reinstalled it overnight. i start up borderlands the next day and decided to farm crawmerax, but none of my dlc maps are at the new u station. i exit out and there are no dlcs present. i attempt to put in the voucher's code but it was used up from the first time i put it in. i checked my list of downloads and they arent in the list. i really dont want to spend $30 on buying all the dlcs if i can just recover them from somewhere in my system. please help! i want my whittings elephant gun from moxxi's!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by The Deutschemark (talk • contribs)
- The only advice I can give you is to call or email Sony/PS3 support. They can tell you what to do. You should not have to pay for the DLC again, but unfortunately it sounds like you erased the DLC aswell. You have most likely also lost anything stored in your bank. --

i highly recommend you keep that photo (unaltered) in a safe place. include that and a copy of your receipt(s) in all correspondence with sony corp & PSN. if you are able to back up your save(s) do this as soon as possible to prevent any overwrite of characters. Dr. F

Your characters and weapons are gone. That much is clear. But have you booted up the game and checked to see if you can actually fast travel to the locations at all? I know you checked your download list, but it would be nice to make sure that no other option remain before you get all up in Sony's grill.

Simply got to where you get you DLC's they should be purchased still, so if you dont havethem dled, just dl them again. GeneralOwnage55 The Message Box 16:13, October 11, 2011 (UTC)
