In Borderlands 2 when you see a grenade with 1,000 x 5 (5 child grenades lets say) is that 1,000 damage devided into 5 grenades (200 damage per child grenade) or is that 1,000 for each of the 5 child grenades for a total of 5,000 total damage?

See the grenade mod pages. Basically they'll tell you that each child grenade has its own damage to deal out, i.e. 5000 damage total. Captain McPants (talk) 16:56, December 9, 2013 (UTC)

The link would be my understanding. Note that this is based off of observation on damage with same level grenades. The arrow indicators do not factor this in, you have to do the math yourself to determine overall damage. Final signature 19:50, December 9, 2013 (UTC)
