Before I start, I want to preface this with the fact that I LOVE Borderlands. It's hands down one of the best things I've ever played. But I kind of don't want a sequel. I've worked my ass off to get to level 61 and all of the items and builds that I've collected and assembled. I'd kind of rather have a bunch of DLC's instead. I kind of don't want to start from scratch. Tell me what you think. IbanezRokr 20:43, March 27, 2010 (UTC)

I think about this everytime I get a new good gun, I agree with the DLC idea. but if you look at the Borderlands 2 page on the wiki, it pretty much says that the second Borderlands is just a topic o conversation at the watercooler. Looks like youre safe for a while! I-Am-Borderlands 20:46, March 27, 2010 (UTC)

They should give us the posibillity to import our weapons and items from borderlands into borderlands 2 Karamos 20:49, March 27, 2010 (UTC

@Karamos, I see where that'd work but would you really want to say spend another $50 on something to just have a leveled character and fly through the story? I see stuff that should be implemented (i.e. better bank or just one in general because I don't have the underdome, a workbench, etc.) but that could just be in a Knoxx sized DLC. Well, I would like to see a Borderlands 2, with four brand new characters and a new story. That said, I dont want to see a borderlands 2 until we all get to the point where we are actually tried and bored with Borderlands 1 (<for simplification, the game and stroy, not the idea of the game). I would like too see more DLC and new features for Borderlands, as from particular standpoint, it allows Gearbox to "beta" test new ideas for features to have in BL2. That way, BL2 will be a more complete game than the first, in a manner of speaking. Now if they keep adding DLC and raising the level cap, including new skill tiers and adding more guns (and by that I mean adding more parts for guns) than I could play the game for a long time, since I have yet to fully level BRick to 61. But I, and maybe even you eventually, will get tired and want a new game. FO3 released 5 DLCs, and I think that is a reasonable number to aim for, but as long as we get some really good DLC (like DLC3, which expanded on the BL story) I can see BL going to almost 7 or 8, easy.
