I have found 2 weapons that have a pink rarity and I have no clue what it means. Y'all have any idea? Thanks - Uberorb

From what I've seen (i.e. a livestream of the mission introducing them; game not released here till tomorrow...) they are E-Tech weapons. Shiroi Hane (talk) 15:39, September 20, 2012 (UTC)
I have found 2 of them, and used a third in a mission. I'm nearly positive they are E-tech, they all had these fins on them, use two rounds per shot, and fire much differently than their normal counterparts. Xystarch (talk) 17:23, September 20, 2012 (UTC)

I'm pretty positive that they're E-tech. One of the first quests given by zed lets you test one out and it was pink in the mission items section of my inventory until i finished the quest and it was deleted from my backpack. I now have a tediore pistol and a bandit pistol that are both pink rarity, have identical barrel modifications and have the same effect (slow, homing, fire elemental projectiles). I'm curious as to how these rank rarity-wise.

It looks like they are rarer than purple but less rare than orange, this is from me looking at my backpack with both. 70.161.212.53 02:15, September 21, 2012 (UTC)
If you equip them and notice they are firing something other than bullets using the Zed mission as a reference then they are probably E-Tech weapons. I have yet to find one myself.
