The Hammer Buster is a legendary Jakobs assault rifle. Hammer Buster is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from McNally located in The Dust.

Gar! Gorarr! My dad's a scientist! GWARRRR!!!! – Unusually high bullet damage compared to similar rifles.
Usage & Description
The Hammer Buster can never spawn with an elemental effect, as per the Jakobs manufacture. Instead, it boasts very high raw stats, with the exception of magazine size and high recoil reduction. It has the design of an ornate semi-automatic carbine-style weapon. The high recoil reduction is innate to its Dahl barrel, and it also boasts a 50% additive crit bonus and 15% multiplicative crit bonus.
Due to the semi-automatic firing mode, it is advised that the user keep their distance from the fray. The Hammer Buster is best utilized at medium-long range.
