AreaEdit

The area in Hell-Burbia has a city feel to it, mostly resembling Old Haven. However, it has a few areas similar to those in Jakob's Cove. In the middle is a square-type upper platform with stairs leading up to it. In the middle of that is the starting spawn point. In front of this area (designated by a Motel sign) is the stage where the bosses appear. Upon running around the map in a clock-wise manner the following will be observed: an elevated area surrounded by swampy terrain, an elevated area with the Crimson Lance insignia (where the Crimson Lance enemies usually appear), a blue elevated area, and a junkyard type area. The terrain is mostly flat save for these features.

Enemy TypeEdit

The enemy spawned in this map will be humanoid (Lance and Bandit) and skag only. Guardians are not appearing in this map. This gives a better advantage to Soldier and Berserker which do not specialize in elemental skill(s).

StrategyEdit

  • An area that's mostly great for the 3rd wave, or the Horde Wave, is in the middle of the arena on top of the rooms. To get to this position, go upstairs and on facing the blue elevated side there will be two crates. Jump on them and then right next to them will be a door frame to jump on. Then to the roof. this area is great for horde as they just clump together right in front of the player.
  • When going up against the bosses go to the center area, head up onto the elevated square, and stand in front of the Motel sign. Doing so will provide cover and an excellent vantage point from which to shoot the target.
  • When it's a boss round, get a good vantage point on the stage. As the name is announced pepper the stage with grenades (or plant proximity mines beforehand). Do this for all bosses, as they always spawn on the stage.
  • When fighting in the Horde Wave, the blue structure can be scaled, and from there jump on top of the nearby wrecked bus. This gives a safe vantage point to safely shoot from that the psychos and midgets can't reach. They can still throw their axes, but for little damage.
  • When the "Get Some Air" rule is active, it becomes possible to jump to the top of the buildings around the edge of the arena making a good vantage point during the horde wave. It is impossible to jump out of the map due to an invisible wall.

Other IssuesEdit

Some people find it difficult to exit a round in progress without exiting to the root menu.

  • Will automatically EXIT when finished last round unless interrupted by user in menu to block teleport.
    • The above statement needs citation;
      • On PC: Standing still on circular center location after looting Boss round drops results in a 10 second countdown, after which another round starts with random rules being applied. There is no auto-exiting after each 5 round cycle.
  • PC = use the ESCAPE key menus
  • PS3 = use the START key menus
  • XBOX = use the START key menus
