Special Weapon Effects[]
We don't need no water... – Every shot generates an incendiary event. Greater incendiary damage.
Usage & Description[]
The Hellfire's strength does not lie in its stats (although the accessory turns combinations of even mediocre parts into something very effective), but in its incendiary effect. Every single shot will ignite, setting opponents on fire. Most importantly, the effect stacks, dealing high incendiary damage over time. As such, when choosing a Hellfire, fire rate is nearly always more important than damage.
The Hellfire is strong against virtually all enemies on Pandora. Even enemies resistant to fire succumb to the sheer quantity of flames generated by the Hellfire.
Mechanics[]
The Hellfire effect comes from the acc5_Maliwan_HellFire accessory. Apart from the effect, it provides extra tech and does not reduce damage. Please see stat modifiers for an explanation on how to interpret all of these modifiers.

Trivia[]
- The flavor text is a reference to the 1984 song "The Roof Is on Fire" by Rock Master Scott & the Dynamic Three.
- The Hellfire shares its name with a counterpart in Borderlands 2.
