Krom's Sidearm is a unique repeater pistol manufactured by Atlas.

Examples are on the talk page.

Special Weapon Effects[]

a gift from Papa Krom – Shock element only. Fires three round bursts while zoomed.

Usage & Description[]

Krom's Sidearm is largely a basic repeater pistol. Its accuracy does excel and feeds well into its special effect. The gun would serve well as a combat-rifle substitute due to the burst-fire capability and comparatively large magazine. The mandatory shock accessory is useful for fighting enemies that are equipped with strong shields.

Mechanics[]

Krom's Sidearm derives its special effects from the KromsSidearm_barrel5 barrel. The barrel grants three-shot bursts when zoomed, and much higher tech level – useful for the mandatory shock accessory. However, it lacks the 15% damage and lower recoil bonuses granted to normal barrel5 repeaters. The unique Krom's Sidearm material KromsSidearm_Material is mostly equivalent to Material_Atlas_2, with marginally increased damage. It always spawns with sight3, i.e. a high-magnification set of iron sights, mag2, which gives increased ammo capacity, and action4; however, the body may vary, allowing for different rates of fire and recoil handling. Please see stat modifiers for an explanation on how to interpret all of these modifiers.

Trivia[]

  • Krom's Sidearm does not appear to be the weapon used to kill the claptrap in Krom's opening cutscene. The weapon used was likely incendiary (based on its appearance) and made the sound of a revolver cylinder.
