Nomad Pyro is enemy encountered in Borderlands 2.
The Nomad Pyros wear fire-resistant armor making them completely immune to incendiary damage. They are armed with assault rifles with flamethrower attachment. Just like any other nomad, Pyro hardly ever seek cover but slowly advances towards his targets switching to assault rifles to engage targets outside the flamethrower's range. If within melee range, they attack with an over-the-shoulder attack. The fuel tank on a pyro's back is a critical hit location; when destroyed, the tank explodes, killing the pyro instantly. They are primarily found in Frostburn Canyon.
