Power Shot is the Title of a group of common Pistols in Borderlands 2. They are manufactured exclusively by Tediore, and use the Jakobs barrel. The Power Shot is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.
Usage & Description
Power Shots use the long high-accuracy, high-damage barrel, typically having moderately sized magazines and fairly mediocre damage compared to other pistols with the same barrel. They make up for this with a very high reload speed. They can also burst fire when the trigger is held.
Like most Tediore weapons, a Power Shot is thrown forward when reloaded, with any rounds left in the magazine being lost but adding significantly to the damage from the explosion. The weapon will bounce a few times like a Lobbed grenade if it does not hit anything, but will explode instantly on contact with an enemy.
Notes
- As with all pistols that use the Jakobs barrel, the Power Shot is only available at uncommon or higher rarities.
