Ravager is the title of a group of shotguns in Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. They are manufactured exclusively by Torgue, and use the Torgue barrel. Ravager shotguns are only available in blue rarity or above. The Ravager is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.
Usage & Description
Ravagers deal immense close-range damage with bonus explosive damage, making them among the most powerful non-legendary shotguns in the game in terms of raw damage. At distances past point-blank, the wielder can lead the target to deal damage to large enemies.
The weapon card damage score does not account for the explosive damage bonus, and is therefore lower than the actual damage output.
Variants
- Flakker - Legendary shotgun which carries a hefty damage bonus, but only across a wide radius.
- Carnage - Pearlescent shotgun which fires rockets for a massively increased damage count at the cost of a reduced projectile count.
