Revolver is the title of a group of commonpistols that are manufactured exclusively by Jakobs and always have either white, green or purple rarity. This group of pistols can spawn with barrels from Tediore, Dahl, Maliwan or bandits. The Revolver is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.
Usage & Description
This is one of the first weapons dropped in the game; it can drop from Knuckle Dragger. Like most Jakobs weapons, it fires as fast as one can pull the trigger having the unique fanning animation typical of a Jakobs handgun.
Depending on the barrel that it uses, the base stats of this weapon can vary as follows (not counting any accessories that might be attached):
Tediore barrel: The most basic and simple version of this gun, it changes nothing about the base weapon stats.
Maliwan barrel: This type of barrel when used in any pistol will grant the weapon slightly more accuracy and increased elemental effect damage, the latter which is useless in this weapon because it will never have any element to it.
Bandit barrel: With this type of barrel, the weapon will have decreased accuracy and an extra damage buff, but it will still be inferior to the one that a Torgue or Jakobs long barrel would give to a pistol.
Dahl barrel: A Revolver using this barrel will come with increased accuracy, faster recoil recovery, reduced recoil and reduced weapon damage. Zer0 can improve greatly the stats on this variant of the Revolver as well as make very good use of it given his special abilities.
Wheelgun - Common pistol, basically the same gun but usually with better stats which always comes with the Jakobs' silver skin.
Law - Unique pistol which always spawns with the blade attachment granting additional melee damage and health regeneration if equipped with the Order shield. Always comes with the Dahl barrel.
Judge - Unique pistol with increased critical hit damage and projectile velocity. Always comes with the Tediore barrel.
This weapon, with these same parts is later reskinned and called Wheelgun when it comes in blue rarity.
