Usage & Description
Like all other Legendary weapons made by Tediore, the Savior does not have any particular special abilities apart from ammo regeneration. The Savior can come in any flavor, excluding Anarchy. Its only drawback is being a Tediore weapon, sacrificing both accuracy and damage for a better reload time. There are better choices of SMG to use in combat, the Savior is just a nice gun to have on hand to avoid purchasing ammo.
However, if one were to be forced to use a Savior in combat, it's advised to take the fight slow. Outlast the target. Do not be afraid to take potshots, as there is no reason to be stingy with ammunition. Slowly whittle away at the target's health, while taking care to stay behind cover when not making an offensive move. Otherwise, in a panic scenario, the Savior may fail to save its user.
The Savior effect comes from the body3_Tediore_Savior body. It is superior to the body3 it is based off, but roughly equivalent to a body5. The ammo regeneration effect increases with weapon level, starting at around 10 rounds/s at level 0, and increasing linearly to about 30 rounds/s at level 60.
