The Sawbar is a pearlescent assault rifle manufactured by Bandit. The Sawbar can be obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has a higher chance to drop from legendary loot midgets and 010011110100110101000111010101110101010001001000.

Usage & Description
The Sawbar is basically a high-quality incendiary Ass Beeter!. Shots fired from the Sawbar, after a set time, will spawn three other shots that travel out at an angle before exploding. The explosion is based on flight time rather than distance, so the Fast Bulets accessory or skills such as Zer0's Vel0city will cause the explosions to occur at a greater distance from the character. At the appropriate distance, the Sawbar is capable of hitting enemies behind cover with the explosions. The explosions will each deal full amp damage, making this weapon very deadly on large enemies at the proper range.
Gaige's skill Make it Sparkle can be easier to use with this weapon, because Deathtrap only needs to be in the vicinity of the line of fire to acquire the elemental switch.
Trivia
- The Sawbar's name is quite possibly a portmanteau of S.A.W. (Squad Automatic Weapon) and B.A.R. (Browning Automatic Rifle).
- On Day 19 of the Borderlands 2 $100,000 Loot Hunt, the Sawbar and all other bandit assault rifles had an increase in magazine size from a hotfix.
