Description

"Race Around the Ludicrous Speedway in under 31 seconds"

Strategy

The location for this is in the bottom left of the Dahl Headlands.

Start a timed lap from the metal hut, just before the track. To start the timer, simply drive under the banner exit to the metal hut. There will not be a timer on the HUD, but the game does keep track of the time.

Proceed around the left bend. While going through the tunnel, stay towards the left, and prepare to take a sharp turn left. There will be a small gap with a ramp in. Boost and jump the ramp, this will cut off a substantial amount of time. When landing, turn left and follow the loop back up to the opposite side of the metal hut from the beginning of the race. Players are notified about the successful completion of the trophy/achievement after a few seconds.

Notes

• The Xbox 360 achievement gives 10 gamerscore.
• The PS3 trophy gives a "Bronze" trophy.

Trivia

• "Ludicrous Speedway" is a reference to the Mel Brooks film Spaceballs. In the film, a spacecraft accelerates all the way to "ludicrous speed."
