Stomper is the title of a group of Combat Rifles. They are characterized by a high amount of damage per-bullet, average accuracy, and a slow bullet velocity.

Usage & Description

While accuracy on Stompers is usually in the high 80's, low 90's, their slow bullet velocity make them almost useless at longer than medium range. That said, they have incredible per bullet damage, with perfect Stompers going into the high 500's. These traits lend themselves well to short-ranged engagements. Their magazines don't allow for sustained use, but for their short fire duration, they have incredible stopping power. The best use of Stompers is in a cover heavy scenario, where the Stomper is used to unleash its entire (usually lethal) wrath on a single opponent, before returning to cover to reload.
Certain skills in the Siren tree can offset the long-distance accuracy problems posed by the slow projectile.

- All Stompers have the Dahl or Tediore brand. Hyperion does not manufacture Stompers.
- Stompers never have elemental accessories.
Mechanics

Stomper is a Title(Title_Damage2_Stomper) given to Combat Rifles with high damage. It further defines the weapon's trait by largely increasing damage, but also greatly reducing bullet velocity. While there are no restrictions on a Stomper's accuracy, the higher priority Cobra title prevents Stompers with an accuracy of more than 93% from spawning.
