"You shoulda seen the look on your face!"
T.K. is a loner, preferring to keep to himself, but he's friendly enough. He first came to Pandora from Isolus after he and his wife, Marian, were targeted by the Hyperion Corporation, which stole many of T.K.'s designs. Mr. Blake contacted him, saying that they have stolen the design for one of his creations, T.K's Wave, and that assassins were en route to their home and suggested leaving the solar system prompting his departure to Pandora.
After resettling on the outskirts of Fyrestone, Marian was killed by the large, vicious skag called Scar. T.K. then confronted Scar. This ended with T.K. losing one of his legs, along with his sight. He wears goggles to hide his blind eyes and doesn't get out much due to his missing leg. He lost both his original leg and the prosthetic leg given to him by Dr. Zed in subsequent fights with Scar who is also much worse for the wear.
After Dr. Zed leaves Fyrestone, T.K. is left all by himself. Eventually, psychos raid his house and kill him, hanging him by his wooden leg from the fan in his shack.
In The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, T.K. makes a surprise reappearance. After having been killed in the Arid Badlands, he is found to have joined the ranks of the undead and continues his new zombie existence in Hallow's End as Zombie TK Baha. In this incarnation T.K. returns once more in the Borderlands 2 DLC T.K. Baha's Bloody Harvest.
T.K. offers several missions early in the story of Borderlands. He offers a few main ones, as well as some side missions upon the completion of T.K. Has More Work.
- Main story missions
- Side Missions

- T.K. Baha's name is inconsistently presented throughout Borderlands, sometimes carrying the periods, and sometimes without.
- In Borderlands he is referred to as "T.K. Baha", yet his splash screen presents a modified version as "TK Baha". In English it is common practice to append initials of a name with a period, although this trend is diminishing as the presence of all capital letters is deemed sufficient to indicate an acronym.
- In The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, his undead variant is referred to as "Zombie TK Baha". Similarly, items carrying his name acquire the same update, for example, "TK Baha's Leg".
- T.K. makes jokes about his blindness such as "You should have seen the look on your face!" and his obsession with the phrase, "Be seeing you."
- T.K. seemed to live his life with an almost crazy amount of optimism. Even when the bandits came to string him up, he had high hopes. Even becoming the undead couldn't dent it.
- T.K. Baha (Ahab spelled backwards) references Captain Ahab of the novel Moby-Dick which tells the story of the seaman's obsession with revenge on Moby-Dick. Scar replaces the whale as Baha's nemesis.
- If a player takes the mission Is T.K. O.K.? from Scooter through multiplayer without having finished T.K.'s side missions in Skag Gully, they can check on T.K.'s dead body inside his house while T.K. is still alive on his porch.
- T.K. is left hanging in the "Hanged Man" position as found on tarot cards.
- His wooden leg can be found in a burning barrel, behind the closed teller window, in the second DLC, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot.
- After the completion of the mission Powering The Fast Travel Network, players will be given the option to accept the mission Is T.K. O.K.?. Accepting this mission is the trigger to T.K.'s death. Avoiding this mission altogether will keep T.K. alive regardless of progression.
- In Borderlands 2, T.K.'s niece reveals that his first name is Teddy.
