Is anyone knows what benefits it give to kill each assassin with a specific weapon? Like, the reward is changed or what? Or it is just for challenge?

in my experience it increases likelihood of specific drop (edit - in replay). i have been told im full of shit but i do it anyway. challenge is the only guaranteed reward.   Dr. F    Chemicalweapon   Wordpress shovel   Boston globe bullhorn  20:52, January 2, 2013 (UTC)
I have a vague recollection that this one changes the amount of money rewarded. -- WarBlade (talk) 22:15, January 2, 2013 (UTC)

Strategy[]

I'd like to propose the removal of the assassin-specific paragraphs in the Strategy section as they pretty much duplicate the content of the individual NPC entries. AnonTech (talk) 18:17, February 6, 2013 (UTC)

The strategy belongs here rather than on the NPC articles. -- WarBlade (talk) 19:02, February 6, 2013 (UTC)

Tediore sez kaboom![]

Does it count as 'assassinated with a shotgun' if you kill him with a flung reloading Tediore shotgun? --Azaram (talk) 06:05, May 10, 2013 (UTC)

Skin drops?[]

I have been doing run after run, got a emperor drop twice (one off of Oney for sure), and no skins at all. Random white and green items also drop as well as their unique items (no matter how you assassinate them).

I wonder if the skin drops occur only if you kill them by the objective.  Final signature 13:00, August 29, 2013 (UTC)

I've completed at least thirty runs killing the assassins with their respective weapons. Has anyone here even seen them drop?

Contraband Sky Rocket counting as a melee kill?[]

Every time that I have done the kill on Assassin Reeth by hurling a Contraband Sky Rocket, the game treats that as a melee kill and checks off the box.  Is this an oddity? Pueblonative (talk) 02:30, March 11, 2019 (UTC)
