Is there any way to disable "reload weapon" function for the "use" key? Can be quite annoying if you decide to pick something up in the middle of battle and your reload time is several seconds. Cb14 10:51, January 1, 2011 (UTC)

How to disable "Reconstruction" message after player's death? 95.28.123.199 07:41, December 22, 2010 (UTC)

Does anyone have a tweak to disable the gamepad? It's one of the few games that mess up gamepad support, and unplugging the gamepad messes up the ability to play on other games that are intelligent enough to implement proper gamepad support. Even Windows sees that it's working correctly for both sticks and the hat, but Borderlands doesn't. --206.248.153.146 21:48, November 23, 2009 (UTC)

I am not sure in the third player mode section what is meant with "you have to edit the rightmousebutton to zoom (2 times)... could someone explain the how and where? 82.173.35.231 13:45, December 23, 2009 (UTC)

In the 3th and 4th line there is "setbind RightMouseButton", you have to change RightMouseButton to your zoom button if you do not have the right mouse as zoom button. So if you use for example the Z button you should change it to "setbind Z" - VaporizerContribs 15:21, December 23, 2009 (UTC)

Can someone put the 'tiledshot' command here? I have it in my ini, but I don't know exactly how the command works. If you know some details about the tiledshot command, can you add it? --HybridDragoness 08:08, January 1, 2010 (UTC)

Here's the command I'm using:

Bindings=(Name="F12",Command="tiledshot",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgnoreShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)

OR:

Bindings=(Name="F12",Command="tiledshot 8",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgnoreShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)

I don't know what section in the article I should place it in. If someone knows, please put in the right section. Also, if you want tiled screenshots to turn up properly, you NEED to disable ALL features of the HUD, and make sure all weapons are unequipped. Otherwise, the HUD and/or weapon(s) will be tiled as well, making the whole thing look very messy. Instead of merely 'tiledshot' or 'tiledshot 8', try having larger numbers (eg. 'tiledshot 16') if you want to make bigger screenshots. --HybridDragoness 00:59, January 2, 2010 (UTC)

vehicle controls[]

i'd like to detard the vehicle controls, ie keyboard steering (a/d) mouse turret, but i cant see any entry for vehicle steer left/right in the input.ini besides vehiclelookleft/right. any ideas? you can use the arrow keys but that doesnt unlink the mouse steering, or allow you to bind the turnleft/right function to a/d while in a vehicle. from the look of the ini and my general feeling is that there is no capacity for this atm, which i find odd. perhaps i am not far enough into the game and later on you get some vehicle that is able to strafe...?

A way to prevent weapon swapping with new weapon?[]

Is there a way to keep from swapping a weapon (when holding the Use Key for too long)? I NEVER want to swap, just pick up and examine later.

Increase movement speed?[]

How i can i increase a char's movement speed?

I know the first lines in willowinput are

MoveForwardspeed=1200
MoveStrafeSpeed=1200

but they dont seem to do anything.

Tested at 12000, 2000, 3000 with old char.

How to disable Bounty Boards (and other jobs) ECHO announcements?[]

Going PT2, doing only main storyline and get 5-6 "New missions available on bounty board" every time i zone. Very annoying. Any ideas how to turn them off (at least remove voice announcement)?

Thanks.

Not sure how to directly tweak the program BUT you can use willowtree to mark the missions as complete until you want to do them and remark them as incomplete. At least that is what I gather from what I read. I might someday get willowtree for end game stuff (after the unofficial DLC, of course). Final signature 09:26, April 19, 2011 (UTC)

P.S. anytime you use willowtree back up your saves first (even though diehard willowtree advocates will preach that it backs it up for you). Final signature 09:27, April 19, 2011 (UTC)

it is my considered opinion that persistent annoying updates from echo net are to punisher the player for not finishing what he and/or she has started. i can sympathize dotfiveone, i really can. i carefully walked brick through 2 playthroughs only to forget once that he was innocent of side missions and take him online. NOhara infected him with every mission that user had unfinished (or was that Ricey? i misremember).

Ps3 tweaking/hacking[]

Anyone seen/heard of hacking the ps3 version? I can get willowgame.xxx opened with a hex editor but when they cooked the code for the ps3 it seems to have made the layout and everything (totally fucked) different. I could be missing something simple, but no matter what I try all the files come out as almost complete hex garbage. I couldn't find the tweakable portions in any other file, and I tried the unusual files in the usr directory. Anyone have an idea? google and everywhere else seems useless so far.

I can share the the files likely to be needed if someone else is interested in trying but without a modded ps3 to get the files, or any other way.

Debug info and FXAA[]

If you use both the Show Debug Info tweak and a recent-version (301 or later) NVIDIA driver, disable FXAA. Pretty as it is, FXAA makes the debug output very difficult to read. Dämmerung 23:25, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
