I've noticed that with all of my guns, the level requirement goes down when I have it equipped. For instance, my Anarchy has a level requirement of 43, but if I look at it when it's equipped, it says 31. My Revolution goes from 48 to 36, my Defiler goes from 43 to 35, and my Cyclops goes from 48 to 42.

There doesn't seem to be ANY use to this as it goes right back to the higher level requirement the moment I un-equip it, but it's still quite odd to me. Has anyone else had this glitch? I'm playing on the Xbox 360, and am on Playthrough 2.5 which seems like it may be the source of the glitch, as I know weapon level requirements are higher here.

this was discussed elsewhere, in the forums i believe, and i wont trouble you with a link (on account of my not having it with me) as this is only the second question that has been posed about this. the game designers considered allowing proficiencies to alter level requirements thus a user with high enough proficiency could use a gun several levels above his/her current level. this plan was scrapped _but_ the code which reflected the adjustments stayed.   Dr. F    Chemicalweapon.png   Wordpress shovel.png   Boston globe bullhorn.png  22:31, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

Money overflow Edit

I found a glitch where the "total money earned" meter jumps into negative values, as shown on the screenshot. I'm pretty sure it's caused by overflowing of the corresponding variable (apparently, it's a 32-bit signed integer). But that's not the main point, as this glitch would only result in you losing four completed challenges until you earn another 2-billions-something bucks - not something fatal.

My question is, has anyone found something similar with the "current funds" meter? According to Money article, it also uses 32-bit signed integer, and overflowing it into negatives would prevent you from buying anything for the same 2-billions-something bucks. That would be quite a pain in the bottom. Cb14 14:40, January 1, 2011 (UTC)

Cash in hand does not overflow.  nagy   talkScorpio-full.pnglog     15:25, January 1, 2011 (UTC)
(The Evil Dr. F's note - i have had this experience from selling modded items to a (any) vendor. negative accumulation and loss of challenge(s). best bet for mods is to "cliff" them or drop save reload.)

Dead Anti-Gravity Psychos Edit

I've noticed a bunch of spots in the game where enemy corpses will go FLYING for no reason at all when you kill them. There's a notable spot in the top ramp of the bandit camp near where you get the last Tannis journal ECHO (the one leading to the red chest); when you kill them, they go flying off sideways, usually they end up partially through and embedded into the wall, though I've seen corpses of badass Psychos flop over the wall and continue shooting outward into the gully below.

This photo I took in Crazy Earl's Scrapyard, on the junkpile just after you pass the wall near where you pick up the C4 for the High Explosives mission. Besides these guys coming to a rest in mid-air, I also killed a thug with fire DoT near the hut, and his burning corpse popped about 30 feet into the air. Iplas 22:36, October 6, 2011 (UTC)

THE DESCENT GLITCH

When we enter the descent and after a while of walking we can see a cylindrical ice walkway over which we have to walk. In that area try to fall and while falling down stick to the wall. You will get stuck to the cliff. The screen will go red but you wont die. Then slowly try to fall down and you will get stuck under the descent. If anyone else can get this glitch to work please reply. It only worked once as I havent been able to try it.
