Does this affect weapons that are not bullets, but are "guns"? i.e. rocket launchers and shotguns?

Does this affect shots fired from the Scorpio Turret?149.159.2.5 00:58, September 7, 2010 (UTC)

I'd have to say no to both questions. As a main Soldier player, I believe it goes for bullet-based guns only. I may be wrong though. AtlasSoldier 01:24, September 7, 2010 (UTC)

Does not work on Carnages (and probably Jackals).[]

I tested this by resetting my skill points, leaving my Impact with 0 and keeping 5 unassigned points. Picking up a Carnage, I chose a place with lots of barrels as my testing ground. In my case, I went to the bandit town in Sunken Sea nearest the transition to the Ridgeway (Playthrough 1).

My Carnage consistently dealt 578 damage to any barrel hit (I shot at least two). I then assigned my 5 spare skill points to Impact and tried it again- the damage was still 578.

I admit that I did not try this with a Jackal- because I don't have a Jackal. However, because the weapon part that creates a Jackal is based on the Carnage mod, it is reasonably to assume that Jackals also don't benefit from Impact. If I ever get a Jackal, I shall try it.

I can post videos of the experiment, although they're in parts.

This makes sense. A rocket is not a bullet. —ProtonZero 18:10, August 20, 2011 (UTC)
