He may be the farmable version of the Pumpkin Kingpin, similar to Bloodwing/Son of Mothrakk. It takes more to spawn him than just 're-enter the area'; I was in and out of the PK's joint trying to find the red eyed pumpkins (Colorblindness is a bitch in color coordinated games...) for over an hour. --Azaram (talk) 00:35, November 2, 2013 (UTC)
O'Lantern as a rebirth version of Pumpkin Kingpin, requires a separate article?[]
Sources say that the Jacques O'Lantern is renamed and very strong version of Pumpkin Kingpin in TVHM and UVHM. In Normal Mode, with single player O'Lantern never spawn after defeat of the Pumpkin Kingpin. In Normal Mode, Jacques O'Lantern spawns only with cooperative players or with single player and pseudo-cooperative mode in older versions of the game. Last I checked personally. So is a dedicated article needed about rebirth version of the same boss, Pumpkin Kingpin? -- Sega010 (talk) 22:29, January 30, 2018 (UTC)
