I have a screenshot of some Trash Feeders, but they can't be seen very well in the image, as they are very, very far up in the air. However, I moved my cursor over one; so it proves Trash Feeders exist in the game. Should I upload it? --HybridDragoness 06:22, November 25, 2009 (UTC)

Go ahead, any pictures are appreciated, but if you can get a higher quality one then feel free to replace your old one (^_^) Geomexis 06:24, December 2, 2009 (UTC)

corpse feeders[]

very interesting insight FlameF4ce. Dr. Clayton Forrestor

Added image: It's a terrible image, but we do now know for sure trash feeders exist. I should get one of my pre-boss savegames and see if I can kill one to get a nicer screenshot. Are they in The Descent? --HybridDragoness 08:40, December 2, 2009 (UTC)

i killed all of them on my first playthrough. i thought they were some kind of rakk and didnt want to fight them on the precipice. they are in the cave just after the rakk hive and ascend as you approach the silver box w/ another piece of the puzzle. btw they did not attack on my second playthrough. i recommend trying to get one or some to chase you so they/you do not fall into the pit of despair. Relevance to Bloodwing[]

I was skimming some old articles about the player characters and I found some info about Mordecai. I guess it's from when Gearbox planned to have the character backstories actually be relevant to the game. The article claimed that "partway through the game, (Mordecai) w(ould) befriend an alien creature... known as a Bloodwing" [1]. I'm looking for some more old articles to confirm this, because if this is the case the Trash Feeders/Corpse Eaters might be holdovers from that storyline. The article cites an old issue of PC Gamer as its source, so this isn't just wild speculation on the part of the website, either. Screennameless(Talk) 05:52, January 18, 2010 (UTC)

Bloodwing as a pet name[]

The pages about Trash Feeders and Corpse Eaters used Bloodwing as a reference to them. However, I believe Bloodwing is simply the pet name Mordecai uses, and the species is designated as Trash Feeder. I edited the pages accordingly. LTK 70 11:13, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

Bloodwing[]

I just killed a Trash Feeder and manager to get it to land nearby. I took a look at it and it looks exactly like Bloodwing. Definitely a Trash Feeder named Bloodwing. AAAAA42 (talk) 07:05, June 30, 2013 (UTC)AAAAA42
