Is it known whether trespass effects all bullets, or just sniper rifle bullets?

All bullets, but not elemental tech damage. For example, the bullets of a Burning SMG will slip through the shield and chew through the health bar, but the incendiary damage will get dissipated whittling down the shield before it actually starts being of much use. -- WarBlade 08:33, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

Would the shield being attacked first by elements also mean that bonus damage from explosives damages the shield (e.g 500 base damage hits the HP of an enemy whereas the 500 bonus explosive damage only depletes the shield)? --82.44.181.135 13:09, December 31, 2009 (UTC)MrCaffeLatte

Class Mod Edit

What happens with skill levels over 5 gained through the right class mod with this skill? Is it just a 1% bullet damage increase per level? Tetracycloide 15:04, December 29, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, the Peace Keeper loyalty mod increases bullet damage to a maximum of +9%, but obviously doesn't increase the chance to bypass shields since you can't go higher than 100%. 70.77.244.25 12:00, June 1, 2011 (UTC)

Badass Lance Assassins Edit

I tried playing DLC 3 yesterday and got my ass handed to me. One of the things that stuck out, though, is that Trespass doesn't seem to be kicking in when fighting Badass Lance Assassins. I was using a non-elemental masher and still had to use Shock Wing (I'm using a hunter) to tear down their shields before I could make a dent in them. Doesn't happen when shooting at Lance Drones (not sure if regular assassins even have shields), so I was wondering if anyone has seen this with other enemies? Might warrant mention on this page or the Lance Assassin one, because it sure is renewing my interest in shock weaponry, all of a sudden...

Part of me wishes there was a variant that offered incresed effectiveness against armor instead of shields. While Trespass makes the Guardians a complete joke to fight, the Crimson Lance and their abundance of armor (and numbers...fighting 4 Baddass Engineers at once is not fun) make anti-armor far more valuable to me. 24.155.102.49 05:38, February 20, 2011 (UTC)
