I believe this article should be mixed with the actual Dr. Ned article, but that's just my opinion--Mishulover69 03:51, December 14, 2009 (UTC)
Undead Dr. Ned seems to be immune to daze. He also DOES NOT BURN; I used a Maliwan Hellfire and a Maliwan Volcano; couldn't get any burning DOT at all.
"Doesn't Burn!"[]
Well, you gotta know where to aim man. Go for the head!
Other strategy (from the article page)[]
On the article page someone wrote about a different strategy to kill Undead Dr. Ned. This strategy works but Dr. Ned will not appear before you haven't stepped down onto the beach. And getting back from the beach to that ledge appears to be impossible, doesn't it? At least I didn't make it.
So you must at least get killed once in order to use that strategy. After having respawned near the mill's entrance run back to the cave with that lake. Dr. Ned is still there, awaiting you. Now you can stand on that ledge and kill Dr. Ned easily. Digga2010 20:35, May 10, 2010 (UTC)
Phasewalk Glitch[]
Both while fighting Undead Ned and Undead Ned-Trap as a Siren, I got a glitch during the battle - sometimes, when coming out of phasewalk, he would just stop moving and let me shoot him to death. I think this might be related to the glitch where not leaving the sandbank causes him to not attack, since in the first fight, I died and phasewalked right across the lake to the other side, right next to the exit. Ned did not follow and simply stood in place at the other side of the lake, allowing me to shoot him freely. This happened again against the Undead Ned-Trap, but this time halfway through the fight. Again, I phased across the lake and to one of the sand dunes by the wall, and again he stopped moving and let me shoot him. It'd be interesting to know if anyone else has encountered this as a solo Siren.
