Kill the Crimson Lance Lieutenants
- "While I was part of the Crimson Lance there were two particularly troublesome Lieutenants. Their names were Kyros and Typhon. They were two of the most cruel and demeaning officers in the army. I had many an incident with them and I would have killed them had there not been that regulation about assassinating fellow officers, but thankfully that is not an issue any more. If you find them while you are out, you may do the honors."
StrategyEdit
- Grab a vehicle.
- Head north out of T-Bone Junction and onto The Ridgeway.
- Get to the first roadblock installation. Fight through it and kill Kyros.
- Make your way to the far end of the Ridgeway, to the northern roadblock. If you aren't in one already, you may want to use the nearby Catch-A-Ride to grab a Monster(see below). Fight through this one as well to face Typhon.
- Return to Athena at Scooter's shop in T-Bone Junction for your reward.
The officers are present and in the open as soon as you enter the map. They can be targeted, though they are not in direct line of sight from the road. It may be possible to kill Kyros, and is possible to kill Typhon, using the homing missiles of a Monster without ever leaving the vehicle. Kyros generally isn't a major threat, because his weapon is a Kyros' Power, a Sniper Rifle, and thus he tends to shoot very infrequently - just keep moving, eliminate his escorts, and then concentrate on him. Typhon, on the other hand, fills the air with ricocheting bullets and can be quite dangerous. Eliminating him, then fighting through the installation to claim the Typhoon, his SMG, rather than facing him at the same time as the troopers that spawn when he is approached, may make things easier. The guards will still spawn when the bosses' respective locations are approached, but especially in Typhon's case, the fight is much easier without them.
- It is possible to kill both bosses using a vehicle, but it's not recommended due to the sheer amount of damage both lieutenants can dish out in a short period of time. A more likely scenario would lead to the destruction of the vehicle before the death of the intended victim.

NotesEdit
Once both are killed, these two won't respawn; this mission is your only chance to get their weapons on each character/playthrough. However, if one is killed, then the game is reloaded before the other is killed, the first WILL respawn. As soon as the mission is marked Complete(both officers have been killed at least once), this will not happen, so only kill the target that is to be farmed; never kill the other until you are ready to turn in the mission.
