Oh, and my PS3 died, so my borderlands data? Disappeared without a trace. Isn't that a pain. Oh well, underdome farming will actually be profitable this way.

Roland "Heavy Weapon Guy"; 61, playthrough 2. After posting this on here, I started using Combat Rifles... Heavily. I found myself an absolutely disgusting niche to play, and that is "Heavy damage fast, to hell with efficiency." And it works pretty damn well. I'll often have to second wind more than once, but I come out of my second winds with my +5-8 Metal Storm and things start dying left and right. It's a great anti-bandit build, and it lets me wade in hip-deep of them and walk away (nearly 1000 bullets later, but at least I won.)

Still need that second Skill Point from Underdome...
