I've always been a big fan of DAHL(they make really good SMG's),
Hyperion(the dedication to accuracy, general overkill in all
forms, and an amazing red color that triggers anyones bloodlust)
, and Jacobs(nobody ever made a better revolver or shotgun,
their snipers are a bit too slow for my taste, but they make a
masher that will make you cream your jeans)

On a side note...you might notice that my classes come to a
total of Level 63...I always add the Underdome +1 Skill for
Playthrough 1 and 2...and if you don't have the Underdome...then
cut out those 2 extra skill points from the skills with least
points they are usually an "odds and ends" sorta skill anyway...

Add a High level Centurion COM (this one below specifically)
Primary Skill 1 Skill 2 Skill 3 Secondary
60% Team Health Boost Safeguard 3 Hardened 3 Diehard 4 12 Team Health Regen
At this point you can do what you want with him...this build has
never let me down yet...Hence the name, he can both deliver and
take a hit like a "2 Ton Truck"...you would fill the "Support
Tank" role...almost like a Cleric...you know...if a Cleric were
to beat bad guys to death with his/her fists...on another note,
this Build is also wonderful for Crawmerax (lvl 9 Diehard and
the Health Regen help amazingly) as long as you have an Orion,
Defiler, Hellfire, and any other gun which does immense
elemental damage and firing speed that you fancy...

This Build has a clear deviation from the bird...i think that
mordecai is much more deadly without it...personally I prefer to
trust in my guns more than anything else...there are only 3 COMs
I would use with this build...or Mordecai at all for that matter
Primary Skill 1 Skill 2 Skill 3 Secondary
95% Pistol Fire Rate Deadly 3 Loaded 3 Relentless 4 29 Pistol Ammo Regen
^ Gunslinger is a good mod...alot of weapons stlyes can be
covered under the enveloping envolope of "Pistol"...there are
machine pistols like the Thanatos, repeaters like the Dove,
revolvers like the Anaconda, and my personal favorite, a Bladed
Masher...nothing quite like a weapon that can turn an enemies
face into raw hamburger then slice their head off at the neck...
point being...even though its overspecialized...it's not bad to
play around with...and the Lvl 9 Relentless is quite dangerous...
Primary Skill 1 Skill 2 Skill 3 Secondary
18 Team Health Regen Fast Hands 3 Riotous Remedy 4 Swipe 3 69% Team Reload Speed
^ Team support at it's finest...say hello to the cranked up
Survivor COM...this thing will keep your buddies alive unless
they are idiots or atleast 15 levels below the surrounding
monsters...this is what I wouls suggest for any teamwork over 2
people total...your more of a help keeping them alive, then
dealing massive damage...cause you can't win if your all dead...
Primary Skill 1 Skill 2 Skill 3 Secondary
90% Melee Damage Deadly 3 Riotous remedy 3 Lethal Strike 4 52% Maximum Health
^ Ok...so your probabally wondering just like I was when this
COM was discovered...Mordecai is practically the weakest
charecter...and you want to focus on his melee damage? Now...
I've done some math...so...this COM gives you 90% Melee Dmg...
Lvl 9 Lethal Stike gives another 90% base Melee damage, plus
900% Lethal Strike Damage...and lastly the Hyperion Reaper will
add 300% Melee...and also 48% Critical Hit Dmg...so...lets total
it up...So...Minimum Melee Dmg is 580%(already added 100 for
normal melee)...Maximum Melee Dmg with Lethal Strike is 1480%
(also 100% added from normal melee dmg)...yea...I suspected I
could get a significant ammount of Dmg...but I never suspected
it would be 15x normal melee...simply amazing...

In an ideal world...this build has alot of flexability...so I
suggest carring a few COMs...this choice is truely up to you...
but I'll point you in the direction I took...
Primary Skill 1 Skill 2 Skill 3 Secondary
27 Team Ammo Regen Stockpile 3 Impact 4 Barrage 3 42% Team Clip Size
^ When Running with a group...or in between major firefights I
suggest a Support Gunner COM...sometimes in a team ammo can be
tight and this also happens to be the closest to standard as
this build will ever get...
Primary Skill 1 Skill 2 Skill 3 Secondary
80% Shotgun Fire Rate Scattershot 4 Defense 3 Quick Charge 3 42% Shotgun Damage
^ When Brain Hunting in Zombie Island, or killing fast enemies
in general, I suggest a good Commando COM...couple that with
namely the DAHL Hunters Bulldog...but any shotgun above 65%
accuracy will do well...DAHL and Jacobs make good shotguns for
this... and always keep your eyes open for 200x7/x9 at +65%
accuracy... completely invaluable shotguns...in my humble
opinion...
Primary Skill 1 Skill 2 Skill 3 Secondary
80% Weapon Clip Size Impact 3 Overload 4 Metal Storm 3 65% Weapon Fire Rate
^ Now for maximum firepower...if your expecting a fight...or are
pinned down by massive ammounts of enemies...then you have to
use the Heavy Gunner COM...I've noticed that good couplings with
this are DAHL, Torgue, or Hyperion SMG's...namely of the Stinger
Suffix...acceptable damage and clip in the range of 135-160 DMG,
+31 clip, accuracy must be +85%, fire rate must be +12, recoil
reduction is a MUST, and a good scope 4.3x is wonderful if you
can find it...and yes...you can pick em off at that distance...
on full auto...I know...I found it amazing too...
Primary Skill 1 Skill 2 Skill 3 Secondary
25% Team Extra Experience Deploy 3 Grit 4 Defense 3 28% Team Recharge Delay
^ If you know payday is coming or if your boosting low levels I
would suggest a Leader COM...now sure...aside from the exp boost
it doesn't serve many other purposes...but would you rather get
10,000 exp...or 12,500 exp...it just speeds up the process...
keep that in mind...and it doesn't really matter as long as it
has 25%...but this is the one I would get...
Primary Skill 1 Skill 2 Skill 3 Secondary
47% Team Shield Recharge Rate Defense 3 Aid Station 3 Quick Charge 4 3 Team Health Regen
^ Last but not certianly least...for the pure support role...you
know...keeping not just you alive but your buddies too...I
suggest the Tactician COM...I don't really find any uses for
this mod...but I'd rather have it and not need it...than need it
and not have it...it gives a considerable boost to Team Shields,
but thats pretty much all it does...it also has a very small
health regen ability...and though small...every bit helps...

But in total, whats the point of kicking ass if you can only do
it some of the time?...thats why I made "Eff the Turret"...aside
from the lack of the turret...atleast the turret makes a good
distraction/obstruction...that aside, with good weapons you will
kick ass 100% of the time...and that was kinda the point...
